Ramona is a small, safe, and supportive learning community serving female and female-identifying students in grades 7–12 who have faced challenges in traditional school settings. Our students may come to us with experiences such as chronic absenteeism, credit deficiencies, behavioral concerns, social-emotional needs, or pregnancy and parenting responsibilities. At Ramona, we are committed to meeting each student where they are and helping them move forward with confidence.
We offer a comprehensive program that emphasizes credit recovery, individualized instruction, and social-emotional growth. Students follow personalized academic schedules and have access to an online learning platform that broadens course opportunities while supporting their path toward graduation.
To ensure every student has the support they need, we provide a range of academic interventions, including after-school tutoring, Saturday School, and intersession programs during winter, spring, and pre-summer breaks. Our on-site Ramona Clinic offers mental health services, while the Ramona Infant Center provides childcare for parenting students, helping remove barriers to success.
At Ramona, we strive to create a nurturing environment where students feel supported, empowered, and prepared to achieve their goals—both in school and beyond.
